INFORMATION FOR ADULTS
You should use your own discretion in deciding whether to let children pour the hot soap into the moulds. Providing they are properly supervised this should be safe to do.
MELTING SOAP ON THE STOVE
Fill your poaching pan/porringer with water and bring to the boil. Keeping the water hot, add number of segments of soap required into your individual poaching pot, place poacher and cover the pan. Once soap has melted, carefully lift out the melting pots and use kitchen towel to wipe any hot water drips from the underside.
The soap is now ready for the addition of colourant and perfume and other additions before being poured into a mould.
Add the perfume first and stir well before adding colourant and other additions.
